Email Validations
Validation checks your addresses with a provider before you send to them, so invalid and risky ones can be segmented out instead of bouncing. Attach an integration to a Contact List and it validates new contacts within the hour and re-checks existing ones on the interval you set.
Instructions
- Navigate to Email Validations > Create Integration. Enter a name.
- Set Validation Interval: OnceOnly (validate once), or a recurring frequency (e.g., every 30, 60, 90 days).
- Enter your API Key and Provider List ID from your EmailOversight account.
- Click Create, then Run Test to verify the integration works.
- Add validation to a Contact List: open a Contact List > under Email Validations > click Add Email Validation > select your integration. Toggle Auto-Validate for automatic runs — new emails are validated within the hour, and existing emails are re-evaluated on the selected Validation Interval frequency.
- Run validations: Validate All Emails (validates everything regardless of last validation date) or Validate Emails Due (only validates new or overdue contacts). Progress shown on button; click to cancel.
- Use validated data in Segments with the Email Validations filter to send only to verified addresses.
